Industrial Research Fund (IOF)

It is KU Leuven’s ambition to create innovative solutions and to turn excellent research results into practical applications. The Industrial Research Fund finances Science2Business Initiatives to create value for a wide range of companies and organizations.

As such, the Industrial Research Fund forms a bridge between strategic basic research, technological innovations and industrial collaborations. It provides a framework for the cooperation between the KU Leuven Association and the industry and society.

We want to create value for the industry and society and impact people’s lives around the globe by facilitating the transfer of knowledge and innovative solutions resulting from our outstanding multidisciplinary research. The IOF is an interface open for needs and demands of our partners, offering solutions and opportunities coupled to high quality scientific research. We share ideas, expertise and technologies and agree on partnerships to solve your industrial questions and to find answers to the global challenges.
